“Highly recommended for small groups or extended families. We are well travelled and have stayed in hotels and Airbnbs around the world - we would definitely return to Taronga for a vast number of reasons. The layout of the house is wonderful and there are plenty of rooms to suit any group large or small, couples, children, etc. The house takes well over ten guests and still feels large and spacious as there are so many rooms, patios, dining areas both indoor and out. The house itself is beautiful and stylish with the most incredible pool area, plenty of BBQ spaces and enough outdoor tables and chairs to entertain large groups. Linda's personal decorating touches, together with ample dishes, plates, cutlery, tablecloths and cooking utensils makes it so homely - there is nothing missing and nothing wanting at Taronga. The property is very well protected by security, electronic fences, gate and alarms and a private security company and cameras are visible in the community - but you hardly feel the need for any security as we walked, jogged miles every day and used the beautiful Groot Constantia wine farm (only a few minutes walk from our door) for everything from extensive, stunning jogging/walking trails to fabulous dinners, wine tastings and the best Pinotage and cheese anyone could ever have. We felt comfortable walking around the community day and night and noticed many solo joggers and walkers of all ages around Constantia and beyond. We never felt unsafe at Taronga or anywhere in the Cape. Uber taxis are an average of 3 minutes away when called and Uber Eats delivers anything and everything to your doorstep. A short walk takes you to Groot Constantia where the most wonderful sightseeing buses depart every 20 minutes so we could hop on and off at our leisure, seeing all the beauty the Cape has to offer. There were a plethora of excellent shops nearby and Constantia Viliage a short drive away with food options for the most discerning guests. We also hired a car and there is plenty of parking for additional guests. Linda ensured every amenity was available in the house from beach towels to coffee machines, blenders, non-stick pans, vases, microwaves and extra toasters, tupperware, spices and much, much more. We felt at home and the staff were utterly incredible - they did our laundry, folded clothes and made our stay far more enjoyable and relaxing than any 5 star hotel. We felt safer in the Cape than any city we have visited in South Africa. People are incredibly friendly and helpful and Taronga is perfectly situated to visit every place of interest from all the top beaches, easy access to the highway, airport, Francshhoek and Paarl to the V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, Nordhoek Beach, Stellenbosch and much more. We found the location utterly perfect and activities like golfing and horseriding close enough to go daily. There are the Cape’s most amazing beaches and watersports a short drive away and we would not choose another location – Taronga is perfectly positioned. I could go on about how wonderful Taronga is and Linda is the perfect host – from brochures to personalised links and information and endless information for tourists. Our family thoroughly enjoyed their stay and highly recommend the villa – we would not have had such a relaxing holiday and Christmas/New Year at a hotel, with the freedom to cook, BBQ every night, enjoy the peace and sun from the protected pool area, which was calm even on windy days. We cannot wait to return and praise Linda on hosting the perfect venue!”

Our family of 15 members, ages from 10-78 years, have enjoyed a dreamlike 2 week Christmas and New Year vacation in this magnificent and well equipped villa. The elegance, spaciousness, the comfort and the excellent service made every day just wonderful. We felt at home from the first day. We slept well in the large and well placed bedrooms most with doors towards the terrace or nice patios.

The size and design of the villa allowed us all to meet in the spacious and cozy lounge and at the same time provide privacy for those who wanted.
We liked the terrace, the large pool and the garden very much. It was our daytime “living room”. Everything we experienced was above our expectations.
